Message | Mr Speaker, This is a great demonstration of how the devils hides within details. In an act calling for state empowerment and devolution, a rider is slipped in saying that gated communities should be reintroduced. This will only hamper the Commonwealth's efforts in making the society less isolated and more integrated. This is no way near devolution and we must stop a bill that is not what is sounded like. Message | Mr. Speaker, If the private sector sees it in their best interest to set up gated communities to protect themselves from thugs and other criminals, our party doesn't see any problem in that. Rep. Jerome Hunter, Leader LP |

Message | Mr. Speaker, P.T.I shall support this bill if Article 2 is taken out as gated communities would result in difficulty for the general public. Hence, as long as this article is included in the bill, we will vote NO. Imran Khan Chairman PTI |

Message | Mr. Speaker, It's crazy that the government should ban gated communities so that should be in the best interest of society. Gated communities should be legal and provide people safety in a world that isn't. Also the government shouldn't decide what is best for the society. Rep. Jerome Hunter, Leader LP |
