| Message | OOC: One year of dictature with the introduction of socialist economic ed social reformrs. As I said in private message to PDS, i propose that Battisti introduce also a series of socialist reforms that make it even more hostile the population with the newborn regime and also large fringes of the armed forces, especially some of the officers of the Ministry of Defence, influenced by several national entrepreneurs, who had approached the ISPs for a proposed defence industry privatization. If we introduce a Machiavellian twist into the story? Battisti who turns out to have maneuvered the Brigade to create fear and chaos to have the good reason and the enough support to assume authoritarian powers. Everything is discovered during the process following the fall and arrest of Battisti: large population groups call the capital punishment and the armed forces, already much criticized for the support given to Battisti, now consider themselves deceived and duped by the former President, also strongly requiring the capital punishment. What do you think? |

| Message | OOC: That is one seriously good twist :D Kinda reminiscent of emperor Palpatine from the Star Wars franchise, haha! With the whole 'secretly-controlling-both-sides' thing. I like it, and I'll also introduce those socialist reforms you mentioned, probably including the nationalization of major industries (which in practice place the banks and corporation directly under Battisti's control). |

| Message | OOC: another idea: the controreforms of the new democratic repubblic there was also too libertarian and the left-wings parties will have to start to bring welfare and state regulation within the nation (with internal clashes between the two parties of the left, one saw too socialist and the other too liberal, and fights with the centrist party that would rather hinder any counter reforms). |

| Message | OOC: I've written a few new articles ('Istalian Civil War, 4044–4045' and 'Antonio Battisti'), but it takes some time, and I'm a little busy IRL now right before summer. Neither of those two are done, but I guess they sort of elaborate on some of the recent events. I'll continue tomorrow, and we can probably do some more in-game then too. |
