The National Student Qualification Scholarship Program _______________________________________ The NSQSP is a program that, if this bill is passed, will operate under the Ministry of Eduction and Culture. The NSQSP will administer the NSQT, a standardized test to be taken by high school seniors. Using the results from the test, the NSQSP will grant the top 5% of test takers with full tuition payment. If the university that they are attending is already providing the student with a scholarship, the Government will cover the remaining cost. The NSQSP will provide the top 5-10% with half tuition assistance. The program will cover half the cost of their higher education. The NSQSP will provide the top 10-25% with quartered tuition assistance. The program will cover one quarter of the cost of their higher education. The NSQSP will provide the top 25-40% with partial tuition assistance. The program will cover 1/10th of the cost of their higher education. |
