Being born Dorvish is not a particular privilege, current law places a certain group of people above others. This is utterly immoral. | Message | Herr Speaker, Xenophobia? I must apologize, you mistake what I am saying. The Dorvish society is diverse, but we do not allow just anyone to become a citizen. Those born to Dorivsh citizens are Dorvish citizens, they are of Dorvish blood. Those who are not, are not to become citizens of state. What does accepting other cultures into the Dorvish culture do besides dilute it? It does not strengthen but I would caution your inflammatory remarks or otherwise face penalties for such honorless debate in this sacred council. | Message | Herr Speaker, Just because it's "diverse" xenophobia doesn't stop it from being xenophobia. Mere blood and family ties should not be the only factors contributing to citizenship! As for the cultural argument, we don't believe culture is something which should be controlled at a government level, it should simply evolve how it evolves. | Message | Herr Speaker, What else is a government's role then protecting its citizens and taking action to protect our culture? It makes no sense what you believe the role of government to be. If we accept just anyone we rape and dilute our culture and eventually we cease to be a country because our borders are open. The basis of a state is a defined territorial border, with open borders and accepting anyone, does that create us as less of a state? I firmly believe that it does.
