| Message | The Socioliberals do not support our measure to legalize the killing of animals? While the PRI is a strong advocate for animal rights, our entire nation is currently vegetarian by law, according to the laws in place. This must change. To answer the concerns of the PSI regarding dueling -- if both parties of a conflict are willing to solve their dispute through dueling, who are we to stop them? As long as the activity is regulated -- and no party is coerced to participate -- there is no need for an outright ban. |

| Message | The prohibition of killing animals must be understood in this sense? We authorize experimentations on animals, we expose animals into zoo, etc.... but is absolutely forbidden kill all the animals? The socioliberale party has considered this legislation in act to punish the voluntary killing of animals outside the scope agribusiness. We are sensitive to environmental issues, but we don't pretend a mandatory vegetarian diet. We can solve this problem in the bill presented by our party rather than vote this. Thank you |
