MessageMadam Speaker

For the childcare provision, we use it to increase birth rates which helps us fund everything from our defense to our welfare. We need higher birth rates to keep our entire society running. If we allow the birth rate to decline, then we have a larger retired population that will collapse the economy and our government programs, including our defense and our aid to poorer families.

MessageMadam Speaker,

Considering the wealth of social services already available, and the quality of medicine in this nation, we feel that there is already more than enough incentive to have children. Furthermore, if the family can afford to have children, we fail to see how cost should be a deterrent to having a child, if the family truly wants children.

MessageMadam Speaker,

We agree on the need to cut the welfare budget, but are not satisfied these particular measures are the right way to go.
