Our nation can and should not fund everyone, I do not feel that that is a radical belief, but in our society, we are paying for people who do not need financial help. To fix this we propose the following. |

Current: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government.
Proposed: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government. However, the provision of this is not to exceed a certian period of time.

Message | Madam Speaker For the childcare provision, we use it to increase birth rates which helps us fund everything from our defense to our welfare. We need higher birth rates to keep our entire society running. If we allow the birth rate to decline, then we have a larger retired population that will collapse the economy and our government programs, including our defense and our aid to poorer families. |

Message | Madam Speaker, Considering the wealth of social services already available, and the quality of medicine in this nation, we feel that there is already more than enough incentive to have children. Furthermore, if the family can afford to have children, we fail to see how cost should be a deterrent to having a child, if the family truly wants children. -Hon. Sen. Pocock |
