Message | Opposed. Again, until modern times when trade unions and such existed were workers treated well? No, their lives meant nothing to their employers, they will take every advantage they can, a minimum wage is a fair amount of payment, in fact is still probably unfair to the workers. The MIP believes that the workers making a product should nearly always be able to afford to buy it. |

Message | Those days are over. It has to do with the evolution of society. Every stage in this process has its special circumstances. Nowadays, we can leave the level of salary to the negotiations between the unions and employers for the benefit of all parties by the way. Minimum pay can differ. In times of profits salaries will rise but will be reduced in times of losses. |

Message | The Free Collective Party makes an excellent point, we are simply saying that some kind of minimum exists so that people are not cheated, how can you be against that? And the idea that those days are over is wrong, yes in modern countries companies have to treat their workers well so what do they do? Move production to countries where they can pay pennies for a weeks labour, where they can force children to work, where governments will not get involved at all. |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
