Message | Madam Speaker, We, the New Liberal Party, believe that good infrastructure is key to a growing, thriving, vibrant economy. And we also believe that Beluzia should have the very best infrastructure possible. That is why we believe privatising infrastructure is the right way forward for Beluzia. Free market forces will allow many companies to compete to provide the best service at the most competitive price, only those who succeed will survive. Publicly owned infrastructure is uncompetitive, and has no force driving workers and managers to strive to provide the best service possible. By privatising where possible, we can ensure Free Market forces deliver the best for Beluzia. As per the proposals of this Bill, private Airports will compete to land the most flights, private Power Stations will compete to provide the most reliable power supply, private post offices will compete to deliver the most parcels and letters safe and sound and private TOCs will compete to run closest to schedule - with all competing to do this at the keenest prices. This will herald a golden age for Beluzian infrastructure - cheaper, faster and sleeker than ever before! This will be better for industry, better for jobs and (most importantly) better for all the Beluzians who use these services every day. Madam Speaker, I urge this Senate; do not pass up this opportunity to bring Beluzia, from the railways to the airways, speeding into the 41st century! Sen. Isabel Minford Infrastructure and Transport Spokesperson, New Liberal Party |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
