Bill: Child Labour

Details

Submitted by[?]: Lodamese Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4064

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,
This bill was attempted to be passed once before and failed and I simply ask: Why?
In what nation, in what world, in what sickened moral compass of a human would you believe child labour is okay and a normal thing. This needs to change, and fast.

MessageMr Speaker,

I really do agree with the sentiment behind this bill, I really do, young children should not be in the work force. but instead of out right banning it why not create a bill to further restrict the use of child labor in the work force, like for example make it optional, or even not allowing children to be in job areas that are considered dangerous.

At least consider what I have said.

MessageMr. Speaker,

we firmly agree with Mr. Lodamun. Child labour isn't necessarily a bad thing. Children beyond adulthood should be able to work. Obviously there should be some regulations, for example the kind of work they are allowed to do, the amount of time they spend at their workplace etcetera. To forbid child labour is taking away the chance for or youngsters to taste their future jobs.

MessageMr. Speaker,
We feel that a child should have their childhood free from having to work, unless they want to (e.g. some income, exerience). However, this does not reflect child labour.
