Message | Madam Speaker, It is right that in a federal republic that local police authorities should police local areas under regional laws (and in some cases local by-laws), while a national police keep out of it. I am also shocked at the proposal to take the nations police service into the 21st century - a regression on the scale of around two millennia! Outrageous! Sen.
