| We believe fishing quotas to be ineffective. There have been cases of when fish have been caught, for some to have to be put back in the ocean due to the accidental catching of fishing higher than the quota, even if the fish are dead. This also negatively impacts on the economy and the wages of fishermen. Exceptions for endangered fish will of course be made however, or fish thought to be on radical decline. |
