Message | David Lingard has made his formal apology for the consequences of his recent spending and tax bills- "I fully apologise for my actions as finance minister for not considering the consequences of large tax breaks and I regret the decision totally. I apologise firstly to my nation for the deficit I have caused and secondly to my party for knocking their reputation severly. I utterly accept full responsibility with no excuse. My party will likely drop seats after this catastrophic error I have made and I apologise to President Burgmuller for this mistake and to the rest of my party for that. I have no other option, but it is with regret that I will be resigning from politics. Thank you to all the other parties and the new finance minister for beginning what will be an incredibly difficult struggle for this nation. I have utterly failed this nation." |
Date | 13:34:28, August 01, 2016 CET | From | Patriotic Party of Baltusia | To | Debating the Apology from David Lingard (ex-finance minister) |
Message | Mr Lingard, our party accepts your apology. We hope the nation will keep faith in the right alliance and that voters will realise we are the best option for Baltusia. Xirtes Fisk, Leader of The Patriotic Party. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
