Bill: The Law on Firing Strikers
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal-Progressive Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4068
Description[?]:
Employer's currently can fire anyone for striking: how can this encourage public action when conditions are bad? Employer's should only be allowed to fire strikers when they are deemed to be striking without any strong reason. If the strikers are concerned about any legitimate issues, they cannot be fired for striking. This takes the power away from the employers and encourages workers to strike when they are subject to bad conditions, in turn helping to improve conditions across the nation. |
