| This bill asks for the ratification of the "Treaty of Friendship , Cooperation and Defensive Alliance and Partnership between the Repubblica Istaliana and the Democratic Republic of Solentia" (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3407). If this treaty is ratified, it becomes binding and will define national law. After many months of tratatives with the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Solentia, the Minister Paolelli finally presents to the Parliament this treaty to enormously improve the reletions between Istalia and Solentia. The President Senna with the Ministers Paolelli and Clemente made a diplomatic voyage in Solentia where a conference with the Solentian Government was held. The two government reached an agreement that will promise to get for Istalia and Solentia long years of fruitful colaborations and improve the common defensive capacity. In fact, the treaty provide also close military cooperation, that will also means an industrial colaboration. The ministrer of Defence, Mr Clemente, indicates that during the meeting was mentioned that it will may possible an extensive common research and development programme on a Fleet Aircraft Carrier to equip both our navies. The Ministery of Defence informe the Parliament that It will submit a request to the Parliamentary Commission on Security and Defence to authorize the Research and Development Department of the Ministery of Defence to start a preliminary study for the new naval mentioned project. | Message | The whip of the LDE parliamentary group in the Chamber of Deputies Mr. Baratti: Ministr Paolelli, the LDE was very impressed by this achievemente of the government. We agree with the minister's provision that the treaty in effect can ensure for the nation peace and benefits for the nation. In fact, despite not supporting fully the planned industrial programs related to defence, we realize that is a great opportunity for our workers because it will provide investment and especially new jobs. But the party wants take this opportunity to point out how the total absence of any type of tariff and customs duty it maybe the cause of a rise ofthe unmployment rate in some of our regions and we announce that the LDE will prepare a bill for the reintroduction of measure to protect the domestic market and thus protect our workers. thank you |
