Bill: Defence Privatization Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand Nationalist Fraction

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4071

Description[?]:

We believe that defence industries should be privately owned. It might cost us more to purchase these materials, but we will save an enormous amount of money that is now being used for testing and investigation.
This would be a huge leap forward for our defence plan.

MessageThis does not seem profitable to us at all. First of many things we see that is wrong with this, the government is not paying the military directly, so the military gets their pay checks privately. The military is now instead of normally loyal to the government, because the government normally supplies the paychecks, is now loyal to one,and or many, PMC's. And if it's not in said PMC best interest to serve the people of lodamun anymore, what do you think is going to happen?

I think the private sector can be trusted with a great deal of things, however I do not believe that the military is one of them, not like this at the very least.

MessageMr. Speaker,

this doesn't affect the loyalty of our troops in any way. Privatizing means better equipment, as simple as that.
