Bill: Disarm Jakania

Details

Submitted by[?]: Party for a Democratic Socialist Society

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2181

Description[?]:

We believe in a more disarmed Jakania, that doesn't use nuclear weapons. These weapons are more a threat on itself, then that they actually are for other nations. If ever a country will try to attack Jakania, they will not do it with nuclear weapons: since in that case, they cannot have any serious victory in war: it would be very stupid to wage war over a terrain that cannot be used for the next 150 years because it is destroyed by nuclear warfare.

MessageIt's not stupid to use nuclear weapons in war if your only intention is to eradicate a nation off the face of Terra... At least with a few token nukes, we can effectively deter as well as retaliate against nuclear attacks

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).

Random quote: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character." - Martin Luther King Jr.
