| "The original Protection of Zardic Businesses Petition of 4068 was introduced by the fledgling SNT to protect Zardic business from overzealous foreign investment. The petition received the reluctant support of the HDPP. Unfortunately, a compromise with the KNL was unable to be reached before the deadline, which led to the petition's defeat. Now, in a newly-elected Senate, we intend to pass this much-needed legislation." -Zeno Filadelfo, SNT Critic for Trade and Industry Article 2 "The Government Committee which shall confirm or deny the approval of foreign investment in national companies shall consist of the Logothete for Trade and Industry (or an appointee thereof), the Critics for Trade and Industry from each of the other parties with seats in the Federal National Senate (or appointees thereof), an equal number of representatives appointed by the Democratic Workers Council of the prospective investee company, and an independent chairperson appointed by a 60% vote of the other committee members." |
