| Senators, We propose the ratification of this Treaty of the Imperial Throne of the Augustans, formalizing the relationship between the signatory nations and the Imperial Throne of the Augustans that was established in the Treaty of Cezareo. This treaty will greatly enhance the power and prestige of the Federation while leaving our sovereignty and independence intact. To alleviate potential fears of a monarchist takeover, we guarantee to preserve the current republican 4000 Constitution, as is fully allowed by the treaty we are proposing for ratification.
