We, the parties of Likatonia feel compelled to express our displeasure at the delays signing the Likatonian/Valruzian military co-operation treaty. Furthermore, the parties of Likatonia have some grave concerns over the future of the once independent country of Zuma. Individuals in neighbouring Gokitan have had reports of individuals leaving the area due to localised incidents of military persecution and difficult living conditions. Likatonia, with it's fine sense of 'fair play' will not stand by and allow these incidents to keep recurring. We call on the Valruzain government to fast track either acceptance or rejection of the above treaty and to resolve the situation in Zuma before we feel compelled to take direct action. Likatonia, uber alles. -------------------------------------- If this resolution is passed by the convocation, we call on the foreign minister to deliver this notice to the Valruzians immediately. |

Message | The latest Valruzian opinions on this matter (it is still in the early stages of debate) are as follows: "Hmm, I can't see any problems with the bill. However, we have intel from sympathizors in Likatonia, that inform us of rumours skipping around political circles in Likatonia that some within the Likatonian government wish to see Zuman 'detached' from Valruzia. We must procede with caution, perhaps we should suggest inviting Lodamun into the Treaty, as a counterbalance to any threat". Perhaps the foreign office might like to suggest to the Valruzian delegates that we are concerned about Zuman rights... but that we are not planning to usurp Valruzian sovereignty. We would much rather try to bring a happy result to the Zuman contingent through negotiations with a partner-state. |
