Message | Allowing individuals to pay for their own legal representation gives an advantage to the rich. While we appreciate that that's what conservatism is all about, this undermines the idea of equality before the law. The best lawyers should be assigned to the most complex cases, not the richest clients. |

Message | Whilst a very small part of me would be inclined to agree, we have to face the facts. If the state paid the highest ranked and the best lawyers for every single complex criminal case the comes along, we simply could not afford it. We also believe that clients should be allowed to choose who their lawyer is and decide how they want their defense to pan out. However if they cannot afford one a state appointed solicitor will be their to deal with their case. George Sinclair Conservative Candidate for Justice |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
