Only the partecipating members were able to vote for the appointment, thus the elected Secretary and President will remain in office for only two years, until the next National Congress. National Secretary - Primary Election Voters: 729 Candidate: Corrado Zanatta In favour: 673 Against: 9 Abstained: 47 Mr Zanatta is elected Secretary of the party. National President - Primary Election Voters: 713 Candidate: Beatrice Varriale In favour: 648 Against: 15 Abstained: 50 Ms Varriale is elected President of the party. | Message | 02 - June 4078 - ILP's Parliamentary conference of the "Drive the change! Pact" "Good morning to all. The elections of 4078 went pretty good, considering that we're still a young party and nobody knew our party well. To ensure who voted for us, and who didn't too, we will introduce to the press our proposals for the next 4 years. Parliament and Government We choosed to start to talk about this issue because we're currently in an hung parliament. Our party don't have any agreement with other parties, and I know how hard is this moment. Anyway, our proposal for a government is simple: every party must sign a Coalition Pact, in which all of the parties show to everybody what will be the proposal of the coalition, and every party, after signing the Pact, commits to vote as estabilished in the Pact, without breaking it. If any other has a better solution, is welcome, and we will hear that carefully. Anyway, we need to act some reforms to improve the actual Parliament, and, as we said months ago, we will support a bill in which the Head of State's powers are distinct from the Head of Government. Every party should be able to present a cabinet too, the maximum proposal quota should be increased to 50, in order to avoid rushing proposals, and, last, the government employees should be indipendent and not affiliated in a political way. Economy The reduction of the State's control in people's life will continue, as we did in the last legislature. Radio services, for example, should become totally private, as the sports' club and the electric grid should be funded by privates too. The phone service should be less invasive, letting the rates charge the freedom to swing, and the private foreign investor should be able to get the majority of a company, without any kind of limit. The daily working hours and the salary cap should be negotiate between trade unions and employers, while the industrial hemp should be regulated by agribusinesses, and the Democratic Workers' Councils shouldn't be recognized anymore. Foreign Affairs Our objective here is to make easier the citizens' life, and addressing our country to a more peaceful one, abolishing the use of the nuclear weapons in warfare, giving to the foreign missionaries the possibility to enter in the country peacefully, and deleting the possibility of our intellingence service to undertake another country's sabotage. We will evaluate the possibility to present some parliamentary motion to addressing the government about some international organization and treaty. Internal Affairs The last paragraph of our proposals will talk about the reduction of regionals' and national expenditure and the simplification of the people's life. The alchoholic beverages should be saled anywhere, the forest management and the national parks should pass under the State's planning, opening to private's help, while the control of the State over pharmaceutical drugs and fishing should be reduced. Individuals will have a role too: the fertilisation in-vitro shouldn't be reserved anymore on couples, and next-of-kin shouldn't override the will of a person anymore about organ donations, the adults should have the right to own a gun with a license, while the child benefit should be reserved only on low-income families and, at last, the crossdressing should be legalized. We hope that the Chamber will agree with most of these proposals, as we count in others' diplomacy. Thank you for the attention." "Buongiorno a tutti. Le elezioni del 4078 sono andate abbastanza bene, considerando che siamo ancora un partito giovane e nessuno conosceva bene il nostro partito. Per rassicurare chi chi ha votato, e anche chi non ci ha votato, introdurremo alla stampa le nostre proposte per i prossimi 4 anni. Parlamento e Governo Abbiamo scelto di iniziare a parlare di questo tema perché siamo attualmente in una situazione da parlamento bloccato. Il nostro partito non ha alcun accordo con gli altri partiti, e so quanto sia difficile questo momento. Ad ogni modo, la nostra proposta di governo è semplice: ogni partito deve firmare un Patto di Coalizione, dove tutti i partiti presentano a tutti quanti quali saranno le proposte di coalizione, ed ogni partito, dopo che ha firmato il Patto, è tenuto a votare come stabilito nel Patto, senza violarlo. Se qualcun altro ha una soluzione migliore, è il benvenuto, e noi la ascolteremo con attenzione. Ad ogni modo, abbiamo bisogno di qualche riforma per migliorare l'attuale Parlamento, e, come abbiamo detto mesi fa, supporteremo una legge dove i poteri del Capo di Stato sono distinti da quello del Capo di Governo. Ogni partito inoltre dovrebbe essere in grado di presentare un governo, la quota massima di proposte dovrebbe essere fatta salire a 50, per evitare proposte fatte in fretta e furia, e, infine, gli impiegati governativi dovrebbero essere indipendenti e non affiliati politicamente. Economia La riduzione del controllo dello Stato nelle vite delle persone continuerà, come abbiamo fatto nella scorsa legislatura. I servizi di radiotrasmissione, per esempio, dovrebbero diventare totalmente privati, così come i club sportivi e la rete elettrica dovrebbe essere finanziata anche da privati. I servizi telefonici dovrebbero essere meno invasivi, lasciando che la tariffa possa cambiare liberamente, ed i privati investitori stranieri dovrebbero essere in grado di ottenere la maggioranza di un'azienda, senza alcun limite. Le ore lavorative giornaliere ed il tetto salariale dovrebbero essere negoziati tra le unioni sindacali ed i datori di lavoro, mentre la canapa industriale dovrebbe essere regolata per le imprese agricole, ed i Consigli Democratici dei Lavoratori non dovrebbero più essere riconosciuti. Affari esteri Il nostro obiettivo qui è di rendere più facile la vita dei cittadini, ed indirizzare la nostra nazione verso una più pacifica, abolendo l'uso delle armi nucleari in guerra, dando ai missionari stranieri la possibilitò di entrare nella nazione pacificamente, ed eliminando la possibilità dei nostri servizi di intelligence di intraprendere sabotaggi in altre nazioni. Valuteremo la possibilità di presentare alcune mozioni parlamentari per muovere il governo verso alcune organizzazioni internazionali e trattati. Affari interni L'ultimo paragrafo delle nostre proposte parlerà della riduzione delle spese nazionali e regionali e della semplificazione delle vite delle persone. Le bevande alcoliche dovrebbero essere vendute ovunque, la gestione delle foreste e dei parchi nazionali dovrebbe passare sotto la pianificazione dello Stato, aprendo agli aiuti dei privati, mentre il controllo dello Stato sulle droghe farmaceutiche e sulla pesca dovrebbe essere ridotto. | Message | 03 - January 4079 - Announcement of the official party's sign up for the National Government "Gentleman and ladies, our party, the Istalian Liberal Party, reached an agreement with the parties Popolari per l'Italia - F.I. and Istalian Reform Alliance, in which we commit to present an economical reform inspired by the "Drive the change! Pact". We agreed to join this government thanks to the reached compromise between us and the other parties, and we're certain about the loyalty of the other parties to keep the agreement, as we will act loyally. We tried to make an official written agreement with the other parties, but they didn't agreed at all, so we gived up on that idea. Our party will be very alert about the economy, we will stand for a reasonable economical politics, and we will keep an eye on other issues, I can assure to everybody. All members were able to vote in all the cities the official candidates in an election-day held on 7 December. The elected Secretary and President will remain in office for five years. | Message | 05 - January 4080 - Announcement of the support of the ILP to early elections "We are here to announce that, after two failed attempted to get a government, we believe that the best choice is to support the ISLP's proposal to early elections. After the second attempt, we had a meeting with the PPI's Secretary, where we announced the ILP's unavailability to support for the third time the same government. We hope that the next legislature will have a clear majority, in order to get a government. | Message | 06 - March 4081 - Post-elections conference of the ILP "Good morning to all, as all of you can say, we have, again, an hung parliament. The party missed more that one million votes, and we believe that the citizens clearly punished us because of our parliamentary's inactivity. Our lack of proposal, the stuck situation with the election of the government with PPI and IRA, both of this led to sceptimism toward us. This time, we won't repeat the same mistakes, and we will try to make some proposals, and we hope we can involve all the parties to agree in our proposals. After that, we will think better on what to do. It's clear that no one is able to get a government, so, for the moment, we will make only parliamentary activities, and, after that, maybe the country should get again early elections, but it's too soon to think of that. We won't repeat the same mistake, and I hope that the citizens will see this as a positive message.
