Description[?]:
President Clara Newman proposes to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Baltusia. HOG- Reduced services and oversight Finance- Minister Miranda Jensen has requested the following cuts through combination of offices and staff counsel of similar divisions of the Ministry. These cuts also represent overspending that was not needed for the Ministry to carry out it's responsibilities. These funds have been shifted elsewhere to other Ministries and also reverted in savings that can go to a tax cut for the people. I.T.-We have invested an extra 500 million into the Ministry to fund construction of public transportation and to help cover costs of existing ones switching over to renewable energy sources in the near future apart of the President's energy and environmental plan. HSS- Recent changes in laws reverting in a reduction of child benefits, and moving certain regulations and oversights including the costs to local governments and no longer national one. People are also living long and health costs are lowering with discovery of new medicine and cheaper ways of conducting treatments etc. This is 1.5 billion in cuts and hope the Minister can approve. ST- These extra funds will cover critical projects for the expecting National Space Agency that is soon to be created by law. These funds come from the extra spending of the Finance Ministry and wont use any of our surplus funds. They will help with launches and construction of the Baltusia Space station. ET- President Newman has personally requested that extra funds be given to the Ministry to help with tourism and also environmental friendly projects including ones involving renewable energy sources. Newman has placed a goal of reducing energy costs overall for all of Baltusians over the next decade. This budget does not require any extra spending and still reduces overall spending help build the surplus up more to provide a future impending tax cut for the middle and poor once more. It will also help keep us in line with the Balanced Budget Amendment. |
