Message"It is important we respond by showing strength but also restraint and that we are not the ones blamed for the escalation of any conflict. These are paramilitaries groups of parties of their country's actual mitiltary. Their President had made the issue seemed mute and no more response now this happens? I feel they are not all on the same page. As such their laws also do not give paramilitaries full rights to intervene whenever so the a president can and should urge them to back off.

If incursions into our border ensure than actions will be taken until than I urge the President to have defense forces be prepared including missile defense systems in case of any conflict. I urge direct military action be tabled for as of now. " Sonya Morrow Foreign Affairs Minister

PRESIDENT Newman agrees with Morrow and is requesting the Home and Defense Minister to ensure all defense forces are fully online and operational. Also to double the patrols of the border by our immigration border control.

MessageMr Speaker,

Two active Kalistani forces are currently carrying out manoeuvres along our northern border. Having consulted with the join chiefs of staff I can tell you that these forces are highly capable and, if necessary, have sufficient manpower and equipment to carry out at an invasion into our territory.

I hope it will not come to this but we cannot be caught flat-footed. In anticipation, I ask Congress to debate this issue and also give me approval to move units of our own standing armed forces into defensive positions in the vicinity. If this bill is approved I will report back with more specific details.

Thank you,
Defence Secretary Colonel Octavius Black

MessageWe don't recognize paramilitary and this is not the official Miltiary of their country so no we don't need to engage in peace talks. They are the ones attempting to push escalation we have not used or implied force at all.

MessageOur forces don't have permission to engage unless fired upon and are to stay on our side of the border. I have recieved assurances from their Defense Minister no incursions into our border will occur. If such action does happen we will be ready to respond if necessary

MessageThank you Madam President.

To reassure Congress, I propose our forces are deployed within our own territory in a purely defensive and observational capacity. Our rules of engagement are not to engage unless fired upon and then only in self defence.

MessageMr Speaker,

I thank parties for their support on this bill. I can now give general details on defensive measures implemented.

Moving from northwest to south east, conventional land forces have been deployed along the border with Kalistan in the states of Lindar Valley, Gevaro and Athosia. These consist of combined arms units, including surface to ground and surface to air missile systems. Baltusian Air Force (BAF) squadrons will also be carrying out regular observational patrols within our own territory. BAF will provide fuller support if necessary.

The main naval fleet based at Puerto del Mundo in Athosia will assist with regular patrols in our home waters and, as is always the case, a submarine with nuclear weapon capability will remain on alert at sea.

I have assurances from the Home Secretary that counter intelligence officers will be working with our armed forces to provide a fully-integrated early warning system if there is any sign of attack. I stress this is a fully defensive operation with clear rules of engagement set out by the President.

Moving on, I would like to explore Mr Leitch's demilitarized zone suggestion and propose setting up a working party involving myself, Mr Leitch and representatives from other parties who wish to contribute to explore this before presenting our proposal to the President, Foreign Secretary and Congress.

Thank you.
