Bill: New Defensive Strategy
Details
Submitted by[?]: Former Nationmaster of Rutania
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4081
Description[?]:
I propose tightening up certain aspects of our Defence policy so as to better protect our nation in the future. Article 1- This would add an element of competition into the Defence industry promoting companies to work for government grants and this securing is the best possible Defence equipment. Article 2- Land Mines I agree are sometimes horrific and can cause horrible injury and offense death, but it is a wartime we are talking about, death and injury are everywhere. In an ideal world I would have no war and this no need for weapons but since we do have war in this world unfortunately weapons are necessary and land mines are a potent weapon I propose allowing them to be used, but as a precaution we will restrict the use of them for now. Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
