Bill: The world according to us bill (ii)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Likaton Fascist Front

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2179

Description[?]:

We ask the convocation to consider the following.
1. We feel that our Likatonian recognition of foriegn mariages being unconditional is misplaced. We have given up our national authority over these issues, for no benefit.

2. Prisoners of war are not and never should be considered equals of Likatonians. In our mercy, we will spare their lives, but they will need to supply their labour to the state. Let us remember, the ONLY time we will have prisoners of war is during a war, and we will need to exploit every resource available.

MessageThe first article makes sense, after all, we don't have polygamy legalised...

And the second one is inhumane.

Only... Federal Republic of Deltaria enslaves POWs.

MessageAMA opposes Article two. Article one seems somewhat irrelevent, since we have one of the more free national marriage policies.

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.
