MessageHerr Speaker,

This proposal would have policemen patrolling peoples homes....if this isn't an intrusion of privacy I don't know what isn't!

MessageHerr Raabe,

Patrolling doesn't mean breaking into a house. Patrolling here means patrolling outside. Anyways we have a law that allows our government to search our people's homes for illegal immigrants and it's not an "intrusion of privacy"?

Nonetheless, this would include police patrolling in people gardens, looking into peoples windows, an invasion of peoples privacy. This we feel, is unacceptable. As for searching homes for illegal immigrants, immigrants are not citizens of Dorvik, and although extremely rare, without this measure it would become easier for foreign terrorists to inhabit out nation!

MessageHerr Raabe,

I don't think that the police would bother themselves inspecting private gardens or looking into people's windows. An officer doesn't need to force his way inside a bank at night to check if everything is fine. Patrolling as I said, means patrolling outside. And in case of a burglary, we always have a police officer around. Don't you think it will help to drop the crime rate in our country ?
