MessageWe welcome a truce and the chance to get back around the table as thousands of lives are being needlessly wasted.

So we are absolutely clear your proposal is:

1) All parties agree that the current military situation is that the government controls Albiland and Athosia while the revolutionary forces control Gevaro, Terrarokka and Lindar Valley.

2) Troops on both sides will stop fighting and dig in along their respective defensive lines. No fighting will take place while this truce holds.

3) Early elections will be called (OOC Is this on the basis I suggested earlier i.e. the perceived winner of the war is the winner of the presidential election etc?)

4) The new president of the Republic is then obliged to hold a peace conference as his/her first act in power with the primary aim of getting both sides to sign a peace treaty. All parties whether in power or opposition must do their very best to reach a compromise.

Let me know if any of this is not correct.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.
