| Given the end of the royal Gottbergen line with the death of Christian V of House Gottbergen, a committee is tasked with determining the rightful heir to the throne. The committee will consist of the Royal genealogist, the Royal historian, and the King of Arms. Until such time as the rightful heir to the throne is determined the throne will remain vacant and the royal duties as far as they cannot be put on hold will be discharged by the cabinet officers who will temporarily serve as regency council. |
