Message | The ISLP whip in the Chamber, Yusef Al-Mahmud: "what is it this? Are you serious DI? All this proposals are simply ridicoulous! Istalia since long time is founded on the secularity and on the tollerance. We will fight against this obscurantistic and medieval dispositions. How can you exist in this time and propose this... thinks? I believe you are in a delayed of few millennia DI. And again, please DI, can you explain to this Body and to Istalia what religion do you want create as the official of the State? Do you notice the religious situation in Istalia? I want to quote you the last general census on the religions in Istalia: Hosian (Christian): 72% Ahmadism (Muslim): 20% Atheist: 5% Other/Agnostic: 3% Almost 20 milion of citizens are Ahmadi and almost 8 milion are Atheist or Agnostic. This is an attack on the rights of our citizens. This is an attack to the religious freedom of our citizens. And, if I can add this, this is an insult to the intelligence of our citizen, to modernity, to this august body and to the political forces that are here. Go away to do the bigot priest and let the Istalians free to choice in what believe or if they want believe! |
