Message | What about the near 50 per cent of the population that is Hosian (see last census)? To forbid them the right to pray at school seems harsh, doesn't it? |

Message | There is notihng in this law that say you can't pray in school. you simply can't be forced to pray in school, if you don't belong to any religion or another religion how would it feel to have a teacher lead prayer in another faith? exactly |

Message | I accept your first point but why not go for the more moderate option of: "The government leaves this decision up to the schools themselves." Why forbid it? It makes it seem as if there is something wrong with praying. In reference to your second point, we have a state religion - which is Hosian - and the majority of religious people are Hosian; therefore, it makes no sense to lead prayers at the majority of state schools that are not Hosian prayers. However, if our state religion was different, or a school was religious or the ethnic or faith make up of a particular school suggested that non-Hosian prayers would be more appropriate I would have no qualms at all. |

Message | What about private prayers so if you are hosian you can pray but if your not you don't have to |

Message | I find PPBs arguments to be grounded in that it is this way so lets not change it. The point is, religion should not be forced into everyones throat, even if abolishing the statereligion would be a better way of making this country secular |
