Message | In order to maintain the strong military traditions of the Holy Luthorian Empire, the LVP seeks to sizeably increase the size of enlisted personnel within the military by allowing non-native Luthoris to join, but keeping the leadership positions exclusively for the Luthorian born citizens. As well as this the LVP believes both allowing women to serve in combat and security roles, and the free export of highly prized Luthorian weapon systems is detrimental to the effectiveness of the armed forces of our great empire. - Stephen Porthouse, Major General, Retired. |
Date | 14:25:21, September 23, 2016 CET | From | Authoritarian Luthori Alliance | To | Debating the Luthori Military Tradition Reforms |
Message | The ALA believes that allowing non-natives to enroll in the military endangers the lives of our servicemen because no one but our own people are deserving of trust. Despite this, we accept the need to increase the volume of infantrymen and thus will accept this proposition. The ALA wholly agrees with the other articles proposed and thus we will support these reforms. I yield. - Roosevelt Walker |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
Random quote: "The day is not far off when the economic problem will take the back seat where it belongs, and the arena of the heart and the head will be occupied or reoccupied, by our real problems, the problems of life and of human relations, of creation and behaviour and religion." - John Maynard Keynes |
