MessageHerr Huspresident,

The Kazulmark Demokratiske Foran will not support this legislation, especially article 2. To begin taxing religious institutions, the government would need powers which are currently unconstitutional to audit and regulate churches. To do this for churches means that the government would define what is and is not legitimate and then act to ensure compliance. This raises a constitutional issue as the Stortinget cannot form legislation that affect free religious exercise without breaking the Constitution and a person's individual human/civil rights. But Herr Huspresident that is only based on the type of politician are in the Fremskrittsvennlig Union. Unless the Fremskrittsvennlig Union can show us their route to this our stance will not change.

- Finn Nordhagen, Kazulmark Demokratiske Foran Parliamentary Floor Leader; Parlamentsmedlem for Central Skalm.
