Bill: Motion of Condemnation

Details

Submitted by[?]: Communist Freedom Front

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2179

Description[?]:

The CFF wishes to call attention to the recent assault on party member and Zanyal regional parliamentary candidate Helena Maria who was attacked by three masked male assailants in late July 2178. Helena is in serious but stable condition in hospital, we send our best wishes to her and her family. The evidence points towards the assault having been carried out by members of the Fascist Rule Party and it appears that assault is part of a wider campaign of intimidation of working class political activists in a region which is the Fascists main stronghold. The CFF calls on all democratic forces in parliament to condemn the attack and encourage the police to launch a full investigation of the assault and of evidence of widespread intimidation and corruption on the part of the FRP in the region. Further CFF wishes to make it clear that such intimidation will not work and that we will continue to fight for freedom and socialism throughout Kanjor and that we will take steps to ensure the security of all party members and all other friends of the working class.

MessageThe FRP stands up for the citizens of Kanjor, and although Helena Maria was part of another party, she is still a citizen and I would never attack a citizen. The FRP was and will never be involved in matters such as this and I call upon the CFF to check what they are doing before they accuse people of such things

MessageWhilst we wish we could believe the testimony of the FRP the evidence we have recieved, including testimony from Helena herself suggests otherwise.

MessageTo launch an investigation (a bill). However, even if she was attacked by somebody in the Fascist Party, that does not mean that it was ordered by the leadership. It could've been just a random member. However, I do support an investigation into the matter in the interest of security.

MessageI have never given any such order to attack anyone in Kanjor, I try to defend Kanjor not hurt it! Your bill should return with the results that no order was given to attack anyone at anytime. If a person was attacking of their own accord I hope this investigation will be able to find this traitor and have him dealt with appropriatly so he can never cause such disturbance again. In fact I am so sure of the FACT that I never issued orders to have someone attacked that I will support this bill so that the real filth can be uncovered and primarily punished!

MessageI am of course not convinced that the FRP was responsible, but an investigation is clearly in order.

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
