From | Rutanian Green Party | To | Debating the RP Refugees from Valruzia Bill | Message | This does sound like a crisis indead. As long as the asylum seekers are carefully vetted (full background checks, etc), we support this bill, but are cautious about the large number of refugees the LPR wants to admit. Will they be granted full asylum rights, and be eligiable for citizenship after a period of time, or will it be a temporary asylum permit that is issued? |

From | Rutanian Green Party | To | Debating the RP Refugees from Valruzia Bill | Message | Is the conflict likely to last much longer? We are prepared to accept 65,000 asylum seekers, and maybe some more on a very strict conditional basis. We also want to know how the asylum seekers will be treated. Will they be paying income tax once settled into the country? What about the unemployed? And finally, what will be the barrier of skill for entry? Will we accept anyone, or select those more likely to contribute to our industries?
I would also like the Cabinet's opinion on this matter. Will we be able to handle that many refugees, financially speaking? |

From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the RP Refugees from Valruzia Bill | Message | Yes our nation is a developed country and they will be paying income tax and permanent residency will be given to skilled migrant s and speaking in game unemployment stays the same, unskilled migrants will be given choices either to return to their nation once the civil war is over |

From | Rutanian Green Party | To | Debating the RP Refugees from Valruzia Bill | Message | Very well. Then we can no longer delay this humanitarian crisis anymore. Unless a cabinet member, especifically the Chancellor of the Excheque, the Home Secretary, or the Prime Minister present any reasonable cause as to why we should be unable to handle that amount of refugees, then we agree with the proposal. |

From | Rutanian Green Party | To | Debating the RP Refugees from Valruzia Bill | Message | "While you are in my house, you shall follow my rules".
Anyone who violates our laws shall be tried before our courts, and face the punishment our laws set forth. Just like any other citizen. If they decide to apply for asylum here, they need to respect our laws. But they must be treated equally, just as if they are another member of our nation. Those with a criminal background could enroll in a sort of "paroll" program, and then the case officers can decide from there if they should be accepted for asylum or not.
Otherwise, they can be treated as another citizen, with all the rights and responsabilities that entails. Be a law abiding citizen, pay your taxes, and be a productive member of society overall. Those who are should be more than welcome to stay, even after the civil war ends, if they so choose. |

From | Rutanian Green Party | To | Debating the RP Refugees from Valruzia Bill | Message | That was my main concern as well. If we do decide to undertake this herculean effort, and there is no way to sugar-coat this, it will cost money. I hope that our country is strong enough, economically speaking, to support these refugees in the short term. In the long term, hopefully, they will integrate themselves into our society, and begin paying their taxes, therefore alleviating the burden on the other asylum seekers.
Overall, while it may be a bit of a burden, especially in the beginning, I believe that our economy should be more than capable of handling a short-term period of refugee entry. To help alleviate this, we can also institute a program that encourages the asylum seekers to seek work, and become financially independent of the state, therefore easing the financial burden we would carry. |

From | National Republican Alliance (NRA) | To | Debating the RP Refugees from Valruzia Bill | Message | i think our economy is not capable at all to afford this at this moment.
We first need to create a bigger stronger economy through international trade and enormous amount of effort.
If you do some research our economy is much smaller than most nations of our size on terra and especially on Artania.
Why do WE have to take these refugees in?
Why doesn't Dundorf take this task it has a economy of 3 trillion!!!!!
I am against this and think our economy is to weak even if they integrate in society it will never be enough to take on the financial problems left by such an operation.
Thank you mister speaker |

From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the RP Refugees from Valruzia Bill | Message | As skilled immigration will contribute to the economy what's the problem????our nation is quite developed and we are going to have a centrist government in which we will begin to improve the economy further
I am further reducing the number to 50000 of which 40000 are skilled, please support in accomplishing this humanitarian crisis
And we took in 0 refugees during the baltusian civil war, therefore I request the Parliament to support this Bill |
