Message | Religion is the building block of any civilized nation. The teacher lead prayers will set a fine example for the children of our nation and ensure that the Christian beliefs are nurtured from an early age. Therefore the C. F. P. will support this bill. |

Message | We strenuously object to encouraging teacher-led prayer in schools. Contrary to the name on the bill, this serves to encourage religious tyranny, not freedom. Religious liberty is the liberty to worship as you choose (including not worshiping at all), not as the state chooses for you. The state making this decision for people in any circumstance is an unjust intrusion onto individual liberty, but in the schools and aimed at children it is much worse. |
