MessageWhy will 'not being bound by the rules set by our government' be a good thing? What are these rules? Why are they a bad thing?

MessageThe current policy is aimed at keeping the universities under strict government control.
This means that the education is more or less at the same level all the time.
We want the universities to develop themselves and not be dependent on the government for support etc.

MessageMy party is in favor of the proposal. By allowing private universities to self-regulate, it will encourage competition between them, leading to lower tuition bills, more engaging programs for the students, and more innovation in the way we teach. Article 2 may lead to more uneven funding, but it will give local government more of a say in their local affairs, and they can always ask for Government funds if the municipalities fall short of the required funding. Article 3 is a good compromise with the CPP's omnibus bill, which I hope the DSPR and the SLPR can be happy with.

We vote in favor of this proposal.
