Voting deadline: June 4104
Description[?]:
Yusef Al-Mahmud, National Segretary of the ISLP: "Good morning Honorable Parliament of Istalia, I'm here to propose to this legislature to procede with early elections now that the Partito Liberale Istaliano dissolved. Also if the 20% limit of empty seats has not been reach or exceeded with the dissolution of the PLI, the current government no longer have the majority in the Parliament. The clause that prevents to call early elections if there is less than a year to the natural end of the legislature presupposes that have remained empty 20% or more of the seats in parliament, but no law or parliamentary rule prevents to call early elections if the government's cohalition or party were to be in the minority toward the Parliament. So, also not to waste the next few months with a parliamentary inactivity, we, the Partito Social Liberale Istaliano, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. Thank you" |
