| Today 0:57 in the night local time a portion of the Rutanian Military tried to stage a coup in vanderburg and depose the democratically elected government. While initial reports suggest this coup was without any violence and has indeed failed this is not yet to be confirmed. A small portion of the Rutanian high command has in the past spoken out about the weak political situation in the country after the NPU was dissolved and now with yet again a political crisis with the country having no PM and missing ministers this was enough as we now see the reaction. The highest general of the Rutanian military has already denounced the attempted coup stating that this is "a radical unorganized part of the military which acted independently and without my consent" After soldiers returned from the valruzia civil war a lot of them had PTSS which caused a lot of them to join the radical general Rorick Hamsworth which vowed for more military consent in politics, overall more military power and better treatment for soldiers that returned home. Some reports say that while most coup commiters are arrested by authorities the radio station of vanderburg is still occupied by military forces, we keep you up to date on the latest news here on RLT. |
