Bill: Media Regulation

Details

Submitted by[?]: Kanjoran Socialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2180

Description[?]:

We must regulate certain avenues of media for our citizens. Certain things are published in books or on the internet that are either outright lies or half-truths. Some people would seek to subvert the government or ppublish slanderous material about people, by using these forms of media as propaganda. Why should we allow these things to exist in our state? Something that would weaken us and the people. I say that we shouldn't.

MessageIt's like your reading my mind, the media need to be controlled otherwise people would start to show anti-Kanjor behaviour and opinions and start to rebel against us, and the last thing any country needs is its own citizens turning agaist it!

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.
