Bill: Riforma del lavoro / Work reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partito Comunista dei Lavoratori (PCdL)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 4108

Description[?]:

Compagni e compagne.

Comrades, the Communist Party of the Revolution begins his struggle for the emancipation of Istalian people. We'll see if the men inside the parliament will prove they are worthy representatives of the people, or mere servants of financial capital.

MessageYusef Al-Mahmud, National Segretary of the ISLP:

"I want ask to the PCR one thing: you said that "the workers have to adjust the production to customer needs. no? So, for you, what is it the market than the encounter between customers' demand and producers' supply?
The problem is you can not put a metalworker to do the work of a menager, you can not submit financial or commercial issues to a mass of workers whose specialization is quite another and certainly we can not leave in the hands of the Unions and the whims of the masses the choice of the most capable menagers and executives and of the senior management, something that the market instead can do so much more efficient, with positive effects on production possibilities, on the world of work and on the income of our citizens, whose salaries are protected by targeted legislation in our nation.
Another thing: You talked about the market which puts its paws vulture on the pensions of our workers: if you know read, the current legislation indicates "OPTIONAL private pension", do you know the meaning of "OPTIONAL"? The Public system it's mandatory but we leave to our citizens the freedom to choice if they want integrate their public pension or if they want divert part of their pension funds to the private system. We do not oblige anyone! We leave the freedom of choice. We have to stop to act as a paternalistic state! We must stop saying to our citizens how to manage their lives!
And you have to stop this demonization by past and buried times, now these are arguments good only for the worst conspiracy theorists.
You declared that all this is for the workers to whom you care so much, but if you really cared so much to them, you'd respect their choices.

Thank you."

MessageAntonio Grammi - Whip of NSU

"Your proposals are part of our political background and are the final stage of our agenda. There aren't the conditions to give to the workers the control of the production factors. The lengthening of pensioning age is part of the natural progress of average life expectancy but you can find our availability to discuss about. For what concerns salary cap we think that a national salary cap is already working with the possibility for local communities to enforce stronger and tighter caps, so we think that article 2 is pointless. National pensioning system is important for a full, free and universal access to pension for the ageing workers, but we cannot realize what a private sector auxiliary institution based on voluntary deposit with any public support can be so bad. NSU will abstain in spirit of friendship".
