Message | Mr. Speaker, While we agree that DNA collection may be limited to only criminals, we disagree with the right to vote. By committing a crime against our great nation or its people, we believe a person forfeits their right to participate in our democracy. We refuse to allow murderers, rapists and drug abusers to decide who runs our nation. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Our party believes in repentance. We shouldn't deny criminals the right to vote when they regret their actions. Of course it's naive to think that all criminals will repent their sins or regret their actions, but those who will, let them have an opportunity in this country as well. Plus the fact that the poorer part of our communities are severely disadvantaged by this current law because poorer people are more likely to end up in jail.
