Message | It is the government standpoint that the freedom to negociate your wage and leaving the free market to their own devices will create a better nation for all of us. Implementing wages such as these will hurt our economy. Let us all remember that we are an exporting and producing nation. Our raw materials from the mines in the Kuzaki Republic go to the Kizenian Republic for refinement and the end products are shipped and sold to companies in New Endralon and Kizenia. Message | This is a foolish idea that will make young people unemployed and maybe homeless and stuff. People should compete for better jobs with their own competence, not by tyrannical laws. Csatár Attila Coordinator of the Freedom Front |

Message | We cannot build a strong economy in this modern age of technology by relying on the exploitation of a low-paid labour force. Employers have got to get the message: pay your workers a decent salary! Unfortunately, too many of them won't do this unless they are required to do so. Consider also that when employers have to pay a decent wage for their workers, they will be much more incentivized to maximise the value they get from their labour, so they will be more likely to invest in quality education and training. This is what we need: a well-paid, well-trained labour force fit for the 42nd century! Lucian Petrescu Chairman of the Hosian Democratic Union |

Message | Mr Petrescu is absolutely right! The ability to make a living should be a universally extended right, not just for those who have the bargaining and education capital to negotiate a better wage. The Szabadságfrontja might find their participation in the democratic process humorous but I doubt the many Kizenians who slave away on ten hour shifts yet still can't afford a proper quality of life find such matters funny! Nic Stefan Chair of the Committee Kizenian Partidul Lucrătorilor |
Date | 11:39:45, October 23, 2016 CET | From | Moderate Party | To | Debating the Minimum Wage Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, We support the imposition of a minimum wage negotiated by the trades and unions not one imposed unilaterally by the Government. And regardless, this is a very radical measure that would significantly affect the job market and could have been introduced in stages. Traian Ponta Chairman of the Moderate Party |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
Random quote: "The two greatest obstacles to democracy in the United States are, first, the widespread delusion among the poor that we have a democracy, and second, the chronic terror among the rich, lest we get it." - Edward Dowling |
