Description[?]:
Education is the process by which the citizens of Likatonia develop and continue the skills they need to succeed and survive in life. Education is a process that begins at birth and doesn't end until death. Education outside of the school focuses on the development of interpersonal skills and survival skills. Education inside the walls of the school, be it a home school or an academic building builds on knowledge that Likatonians need in order to succeed and exceed the limits in this world. Each child has the right to begin his or her education at an early age. Parent(s)/guardian(s) who are economically disadvantaged have the right to be able to send their child(ren) to preschool and assist their child(ren) in getting ahead start in life, one they didn't have. This this reason, a free public preschool system should exist, so all of Likatonia's children can succeed and exceed their limits. Parent(s)/guardian(s) also deserve the chance to send their child(ren) to a private institution they feel will better serve their child. For this reason, the private sector can actively maintain its own preschools. The private sector schools will go unregulated, since they operate on a competition basis and this encourages a certain level of standards, and the public will remain regulated, as it is publically funded. |
