Message | Mr. Speaker We would agree in principle to the nationalization of our nation's airports. However we would like to see more meat in this proposal; what Government Department would Administer them? Would Military and Civilian Airports be privy to the same regulations? Would a government agency be created to oversee all airport Operations? Would they also be responsible for monitoring Air traffic? Would HBSA still be involved in security? Message | "Mr. Speaker, Nationalization of airports will lead to inefficiency. We already have some government involvement where the big government types have decided it is "needed" -- why don't we work on perfecting the system we have instead of adopting one we know won't work?" - John Paul Smith (LDP-RO) LDP Spokesman for Infrastructure and Transport |

Message | Mr. Speaker Is the NPP and HRA going to give us any clarification on this Bill or are they resolute on ramming this Bill down the throat of the Senate without any debate, consultation and keep it openly vague without thought to those ramifications.
