Message | Herr Speaker, This proposal would increase government spending, we think private handling but heavy government regulation is more than sufficient, we shall oppose this bill. Ken Knochen, Parliamentary Leader of the Opposition |

Message | Herr Knochen, I'm aware of our economy. However, my party thinks that giving drugs to private foundations, even if they are heavily regulated, is a bit risky. Ferdinand von Braun (NPdV) - State Chancellor of the Dorvish Republic |

Message | State Chancellor, That is precisely why we have heavy regulation, to stop the vast majority of risks. Also recreational drugs include alcohol and nicotine, we don't believe those industries should ne nationalized. If we were going by strict regulation here, caffeine would be included as such, meaning coffee too would need to be regulated. Paula Fürst, Parliamentary Leader of the Opposition |

Message | Frau Fürst, I was talking all the time about cannabis. We wanted to make the nationalization of the cannabis, not coffee. Also, nicotine and alcohol (in this game) are not considered as recreational drugs. Nicotine is considered as tobacco and alcohol as alcohol. Ferdinand von Braun (NPdV) - State Chancellor of the Dorvish Republic |

Message | State Chancellor, Nonetheless, we oppose the nationalization of cannabis. We see no grounds for it to be made so, as we have heavy regulation. Paula Fürst, Parliamentary Leader of the Opposition |
