Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 01:45:50, November 01, 2016 CET | From | Beluzian Traditional Party | To | Debating the Freedom to the People Act |
Message | The Traditional Party would consider supporting this bill if amendments were made. Article 4 invites utter degeneracy and must be removed. There is no demand for this article and it only serves to further damage society. Beastiality is a perversion and we must not allow it to become the norm. In terms of Article 3, the Traditional Party would need details on the proposed regulations on inheritance law before we supported it. All in all, if Article 4 is removed and if the government can provide clarity on the regulations referred to in Article 3, we would be likely to support the Freedom to the People Act. |
Date | 04:57:08, November 01, 2016 CET | From | Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party | To | Debating the Freedom to the People Act |
Message | The new rules aim to ease succession across Terra by giving individuals the chance to opt either for the law of the country of their nationality or their last habitual residence to be applicable to their inheritance across Terra. The default position will mean the law of the country where someone is a habitual resident when they die governs succession to their estate as a whole. |
Date | 05:06:54, November 01, 2016 CET | From | Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party | To | Debating the Freedom to the People Act |
Message | For private inheritance law regulation, the Government will regulate the wills of the deceased (nobility) to make sure that their estates are not inherited to other Dukes, Earls, Count with similar ancestry in other nations, but only to relatives within that Duke's family |
Date | 05:08:04, November 01, 2016 CET | From | Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party | To | Debating the Freedom to the People Act |
Message | That will ensure that the estate will be kept under the Beluzian government's control and not under the control of another nation (which might lead to negligence by that nation on the property) |
Date | 10:03:53, November 01, 2016 CET | From | Beluz Liberal Democrats | To | Debating the Freedom to the People Act |
Message | What is the point of article 1? No person should be required to serve any time in the military. |
Date | 10:24:12, November 01, 2016 CET | From | Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party | To | Debating the Freedom to the People Act |
Message | Do you understand what the word exempted means? People are allowed to opt out of the fighting part of the military, but they cannot opt out of non-fighting (peaceful) roles. |
