Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

Ministry of Science and Technology is proposing a bill which would privatize National Internet Provision System. After deep and thourough analysis we've decided that maintaining and upkeep costs of this institution is redundant due to the vast spectrum of the private providers and national service not being any better than private providers. The medium cost of Internet Services is ca. 79 DDO a month. The national provided Internet is 99 DDO so it is not even near the competition. Therefore we have drafted a bill which's aim is to shut down the NIPS.

Rebekka Williamsen (Liberal), Science and Technology Minister.

MessageHerr Speaker,

We believe that the option for a nationalized internet service provider should remain open, it is not loosing us money keeping it running, we believe there is no harm in allowing it to continue for now. We should only remove it if we enter a recession. Also regarding the price of the nationalized ISP, perhaps we should simply lower the cost to make it more competitive?
