Bill: 04/4116 Interracial marriages

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Democratic Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4117

Description[?]:

'Interracial marriages are recognised by the government, but with fewer rights than those of same-race couples.

We (the New Democrats) think that this bill is not only a stimulant for segregation, but also a way to show that it still makes a difference if you're black or white. We want to change this bill in a way more respectively bill, which equalizes the civil rights of people with a dark skin compared to the rights of people with a white skin.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".
