Message | Mr. Speaker, the DSU is on the fence with this proposal because National Police Departments uniformaty of police service all across our country and equal respect for the law in different parts of our 800.000 square kilometers state. Currenlty 2,8bn DDO from Defence budget and 1,75bn DDO from Internal Affairs budget are being directed to the General Directorateof the National Police Department and then they are redistribued to provide uniformity of operation capability and therfore cutting the governmental funding would be too radical and maybe too dangerous. I have a question to LSP. How will the local governments be able to gather funds needed to provide the proper police operational status? Antoinette Wellner-Tesla, Defence MInister. |
