| Onorevoli rappresentati della Camera dei Deputati, sono onorato di essere qui a servire la Repubblica come Presidente. L'espressione della libertà di voto dei cittadini ha indicato me come garante di questo ruolo: questa indicazione è tanto importante perchè viene direttamente dal voto dei cittadini e va altamente rispettata ogni volta che si presenta. Iniziamo questa legislatura insieme: le istituzioni e i partiti, la presidenza e il governo, il Parlamento e i cittadini. Si tratta di collaborare insieme per il bene comune, anche se questo può comportare il fare un passo indietro rispetto alle proprie convinzioni personali. Che ogni partito e ogni parlamentare abbia come suo unico obbiettivo quello di servire il popolo e garantire le libertà di opinione, pensiero, libera iniziativa, imprenditorialità. Camminiamo insieme in questo percorso. Grazie per l'attenzione e buon lavoro a tutti. Stefano Paresi, Presidente della Repubblica * * * Honorable members of the Camera dei Deputati, I am honored to be here to serve the Republic as President. The expression of the citizens' freedom of vote has shown me as a guarantor of this role: this indication is so important because it comes directly from the vote of the people and should be highly respected whenever that occurs. We begin this legislature together: institutions and political parties, the Presidency and the Government, the Parliament and citizens. It is to work together for the common good, even if this may involve taking a step backwards in relation to their personal convictions. That every party and every parliamentarian has as its only objective to serve the people and guarantee the freedom of opinion, thought, free enterprise, entrepreneurship.
